Avengers: Age Of Ultron Is Going To Make A Record Breaking Amount Of Money

We’ve all known for quite a while that ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ is going to make a preposterous amount of money. But it’s now becoming clear that this stupendous sum is going to be much more than any of us probably imagined.

In fact, ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ is set to break all kinds of records when it finally hits screens in just a fortnight. That’s according to the tracking figures that have been carefully monitoring just how popular the film will be.

Deadline’s experts have figured out that tracking is currently a little bit better than 2012’s ‘The Avengers’, which will have Marvel Studios more than a tad excited since Joss Whedon’s original grossed $207.4 million over its opening weekend in May 2012.

This has now led to predictions that it will topple this amount with ease, and go one to record the highest opening in the United States box office history.

A Fandango spokesperson has explained that preview tickets for ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ are “significantly outselling” ‘The Avengers’, before adding that theaters across the US are already sold out and more showtimes are being added to meet the demand.

In order for ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ to record the highest opening weekend of all time it will not only need to beat its predecessor’s gargantuan sum, but it will also have to eclipse ‘Iron Man 3’s’ $174.1 million and ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2’s’ $169.1 million.

But it sounds as if the combined exploits of Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, The Hulk, Captain America, and Hawkeye won’t have any problem doing that. Which means that you better have you ticket in place already ahead of its release date in the UK on April 23, otherwise you might not be able to see it until weeks after.
