Rumour: Batman V Superman Trailer Complete

It was a big week for superhero trailers after the release of our first look at ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. But how will Warner Bros. follow that? It looks as though an official ‘Batman V Superman’ trailer may be on the horizon.

Ever since the first official ‘Batman V Superman’ trailer was revealed at Comic Con this year, DC fans have been desperate to find out what those lucky Hall H attendees saw on the day. But it looks as though we might not have to wait too long before we finally get a glimpse at the upcoming super-powered rumble.

According to Batman On Film, the first official ‘Batman V Superman’ trailer has already been completed… and could even be coming soon.

“According to a few of [our] insiders, the first teaser trailer for the film is complete and ready to go,” they reveal. “The overt hint I got from these folks is that the teaser will be revealed this Fall along with a November or December film release.”

But which film will the highly-anticipated trailer be attached to?

“I have no idea to which specific film it may be attached,” they explain. “But New Line’s (which is Warner Bros. sister company) ‘The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies’ is being released on December 17, 2014.”

Of course, there’s one big question here – why would Warner Bros. want to release a trailer quite so early? After all, ‘Batman V Superman’ won’t appear in cinemas until 2016. Well, it’s no secret that a brief teaser has already appeared at Comic Con… and if you ask me, that’s likely what we’re going to see.

And given the mixed reaction to Ben Affleck’s casting, perhaps it’s wise to give the public a glimpse of how good he is in the role. But will it appear by December? For now, we’ll have to wait and see.
