Batman v Superman: First Look At Bald Jesse Eisenberg As Lex Luthor

When Jesse Eisenberg was announced as the man to play Lex Luthor in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, fan discussions immediately turned to two things: is he the right actor for the role and will he look the part?

Well, going by this first look at Eisenberg’s Luthor, the answer to the latter appears to be a resounding yes.

Entertainment Weekly nabbed the exclusive first look and spoke to director Zack Snyder about introducing the character to Warner Bros’ DC Cinematic Universe and the film’s take on the iconic villain.

“He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure,” says Snyder, “other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course.

“Our Lex is disarming and he’s not fake. He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there.”

EW also reveal that Jason Momoa’s appearance in the film as Aquaman will be a cameo – laying to rest talk of how large his role would be – and that it will set up the ‘Justice League’ film set for 2017.

Snyder is set to direct that film as well, which will bring together Henry Cavill’s Superman, Ben Affleck’s Batman and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman following their exploits together in ‘Dawn of Justice’.

Aquaman will star as well and it is expected that Ezra Miller will make his debut as The Flash. A solo Green Lantern film is on Warner Bros’ slate as well, so he could very well appear too.
