Spectacular Rome Car Chase Coming In SPECTRE

It was only last month that the alleged Rome car chase for upcoming Bond adventure ‘SPECTRE’ had been scrapped, much to the annoyance of the film’s producers. But with an announcement for the new collection of cars that’ll tear through the ancient Italian streets, it seems that was but a smoke screen.

The new range of featured vehicles were revealed on the official Land Rover website this week, which cited the inclusion of the Jaguar C-X75s, Range Rover Sport SVR and bespoke Defender ‘Big Foots’.

The official statement for the deal reads;

The Jaguar C-X75 will feature in a spectacular car chase sequence through Rome alongside the Aston Martin DB10. The C-X75 vehicles have been built in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering facility in Oxfordshire, England.

Based on this, it now seems inevitable that we will in fact see this combo of hefty and sleek vehicles roaring around Rome, with plans for a nighttime chase.

The alleged denial of permission appears to be part of a non disclosure clause, which has surrounded the 24th Bond film in secrecy.

Jaguar and Land Rover’s partnership with the Bond franchise will showcase the (pictured) motors, as Sam Mendes returns to helm his second Bond outing in a row, after successfully directing the billion dollar-breaking ‘Skyfall’ in 2012.

Daniel Craig reprises his role of 007 for the fourth time, alongside returnees Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw, while Lea Seydoux, Monica Bellucci, Dave Bautista, and Christoph Waltz join the cast.

'SPECTRE' is released in the UK on 23 October.
