Frank Grillo Teases Captain America 3 Appearance

It looks as though Frank Grillo will be appearing in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ after he took to his Twitter account to tease his involvement.

Grillo wrote to his legion of followers, “A #Civil-war is on the horizon. And it’s gonna be a free for all,” before he then re-tweeted a story that reported his appearance.

Grillo previously turned up in ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ as Brock Rumlow, and at the end of the Russo Brothers’ 2014 blockbuster he began his transformation into the Marvel villain Crossbones.

This occurred after Rumlow went toe-to-toe with Anthony Mackie’s Falcon inside the Triskelion only to then be obliterated by the falling Hellcarrier that crashed and destroyed the building. Rumlow somehow survived this devastation and he then began his metamorphosis.

We didn’t actually get a full glimpse of Grillo’s Crossbones though, and it now sounds as if we will be privy to just that in ‘Captain America: Civil War’.

Brock Rumlow’s appearance alongside Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers and Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man in ‘Civil War’ had been assumed because the character was prominent in The Death Of Captain America comics that followed the ‘Civil War’ story.

Frank Grillo’s Crossbones isn’t the only new character expected to appear in ‘Civil War’ as the rebooted Spider-Man’s inclusion ahead of his latest origin story with Sony has been teased too.

‘Captain America: Civil War’ will be released on May 6, 2016.
